Olympic Middler schoolers got a glimpse of budgeting and making wise financial decisions during the Financial Reality Fair hosted by the Shelton High School DECA, marketing club. Fifth and sixth grade students participated in a hands-on activity where they received a monthly income and had to make financial decisions based on their needs and wants. Volunteers from Our Community Credit Union acted as “Financial Counselors” to the students as they completed their workshop. A huge shout out goes to Our Community Credit Union, Peninsula Credit Union, and SHS DECA for your collaboration!
