Olympic Middle School serves approximately 500 students in grades 5 and 6 in the Shelton School District. At OMS, we are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student is known, valued, and supported. 

We believe that learning is strongest when schools and families work together. As an Eagle community, we are dedicated to helping every student grow, achieve, and discover their potential. 


A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Olympic Middle School!

At OMS, we believe middle school should be a place where students feel safe, connected, challenged, and inspired. These years are an exciting time of growth as students discover who they are, develop new interests, build lasting friendships, and strengthen the skills they need for future success.

Everything we do is grounded in our SOAR expectations. We encourage students to be Safe, Open, Authentic, and Reliable in their classrooms, on the playground, in activities, and throughout our community. These values help create a positive school culture where every student feels they belong and can thrive.

Our dedicated staff works hard each day to provide engaging learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, collaborate with others, and find their voice. We believe strong relationships are the foundation of learning, and we strive to know every student by name, strength, and need.

At Olympic Middle School, we also believe that education is most successful when schools and families work together. We value our partnership with parents and guardians and encourage open communication throughout the school year. Together, we can help students navigate the opportunities and challenges of adolescence while building confidence, character, and a love of learning.
